Zia ul umat jastis Pir Muhammad Karam Shah of religion and nation
The history of the Indo-Pak subcontinent encompasses the holy people who have become like light in their existence and perfume and fragrance in their remembrance. Whose existence has been blessed and good for the Muslim Ummah. The remembrance of which even today gives rise to the fragrance of the buds of the heart and mind and evokes a feeling of freshness in the soul.
Purity of thought begins to travel towards its height and emotions flare up like a flame. The sparks that rise from it still illuminate the surroundings today. And in this light truth and falsehood become prominent and the travelers of the path of truth determine their destination by knowing the truth and ensure their access to the destination.
One of these holy figures is Justice Pir Muhammad Karam Shah Al-Azhari. The world remembers him with the title of Zia-ul-Ummah. Pir Muhammad Karam Shah was born on 21st Ramadan 1918 in Bhairah district of Sargodha.
He opened his eyes in the lap of Pir Muhammad Shah (may Allah have mercy on him). Who managed your higher education and training from childhood.
He started his early education in 1925 by teaching the Qur'an according to the family tradition. Later, he started pursuing secular education and in 1936 he passed the matriculation examination with high marks. After that they started to acquire more religious knowledge.
In 1941, he passed the Fazil Arabic examination from Oriental College, Lahore and remained prominent by securing the first position in the entire Punjab. From 1941 to 1943, he continued his education in Muradabad under the patronage of Maulana Naeem-ud-Din Muradabadi (may Allah have mercy on him) and completed his Hadith tour.
After completing the tour of Hadith, Maulana Naeem-ud-Din Muradabadi, while awarding him a degree, praised his student's academic ability with historical words and said: “I am satisfied that I have the trust of religious knowledge and Hadith. Has reached the right person. "
These words were more than a traditional sanad for Pir Muhammad Karam Shah (may Allah have mercy on him) which can only be guessed by a learned person.
Later he returned to his village and passed the BA examination from Punjab University in 1945 with good marks. One thing that can be seen in his personality is how even in this age of slavery, from his childhood, the spirit of enriching himself with religious and worldly knowledge was ingrained in his soul. This educational passion led him to pursue higher education in 1951 at the great and ancient university of the Islamic world, Al-Azhar, so that he could quench his thirst for knowledge with alcohol. Because the thirst of these saints is not quenched by the knowledge of alcohol but increases and the identity of true knowledge is that it never ends but goes on till the grave.
And it is this thirst that causes their outward and inward rise. Because quenching their thirst for knowledge is like running a dagger through their veins.
This is evident from the fact that Pir Sahib also proved his mettle in a great international university like Al-Azhar and got the first position. The Egyptian government awarded you the "Note of Distinction" and the "Al-Dura Al-Fakhri" and appreciated this gem of unity.
After the tragic death of his father Majid in 1951, he took over the leadership and development of the Muslim Ummah. He started the renaissance of Darul Uloom Muhammadiyah Ghausia which was founded by his ancestor Amjad in 1925.
The curriculum in Darul Uloom was formulated in such a way that it was a beautiful combination of ancient and modern and secular and religious sciences. This is the reason why Darul Uloom Mohammadia Ghousia is a religious school as well as embracing modern sciences. According to Pir Sahib, the curriculum of religious schools should be such that after graduation, a person should be fully acquainted with modern sciences and have a keen eye on the current situation as well as develop a solid qualification in religious sciences. ''
And today the ideal character of Darul Uloom Muhammadiyah Ghousia is its own example. Pir Sahib (may Allah have mercy on him) used to call the graduates of Darul Uloom with the title of Shaheen and behind the dynamic of this title were the following poems of Allama Muhammad Iqbal (may Allah have mercy on him):
So Shaheen, flight is your job
There are more heavens before you
I am a hawk of the world of birds
That Shaheen does not make a nest
Pir Sahib (may Allah have mercy on him) was a universal thinker. That is why he did not want to limit the students studying in his Darul Uloom to the Imamate of the mosque, but to create in them the ability to lead the world. Be able to do things in a real sense ...
Along with his rise in the field of knowledge and practice, Pir Sahib (may Allah have mercy on him) also proved his mettle in the field of writing and rendered valuable services.
Whose precedent is not even found. The foremost commentary is Zia-ul-Quran which is equally popular in scientific and literary circles and a masterpiece of Urdu literature. Everyone around him loves her and is convinced of her greatness.
That is why it is inevitable to find this commentary in religious schools as well as in colleges and universities all over the world. There is hardly an institution where the commentary of Zia-ul-Quran is not available. This is a testament to the scholarly greatness of this commentary. This commentary is the result of Pir Sahib's 19 years of hard work. The great scholar
Dr. Muhammad Ishaq Qureshi, when he read his commentary, said that the servant who wrote this commentary will soon write a book on the obligatory biography of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).
